Glide Specifications

Probably the most underestimated component on a desk is the glide. This floor base on every desk or chair causes more problems for flooring if not specified correctly. At National School Lines we specifically use the top brand in glides because we know how important your selection is. We offer glides in a number of different styles. Our standard glides offer years of maintenance-free movement. National School Lines has introduced our newest answer to the age old problem of scratched tile floors because of nylon glides. We have teamed up to utilize a new composite which is designed for the VCT tile floors used in most classrooms across the U.S. today. Our glide provides the best protection since the tennis ball for minimizing floor damage. Extensive testing done utilizing sand/water/grit and dirt has shown that this glide (white in color) has been strong enough to not take the debris that catches in the nylon glides and causes them to turn into sand paper on tile floors. The revolutionary design is easily recognizable by the center pocket of the glide which has material removed in a circle like area.
