• Welded fixed height stools are the most economical buy for a customer. They typically come in heights of 18”, 24” or 28”. These stools are offered in either a square or round legged style. Square legs are more durable, because they have a heavier steel gauge. We have developed an add-on back rest for this model as well. Both styles come with either round or square foot rings. Although nickel chrome legs have been the norm for years, the recent focus on “green” products has made polyester powder coated frames more of a standard.
• Adjustable legged stools use the same frame make-up as the welded fixed height stools. National School Lines can offer a maximum adjustability from 20” to 34” on the square legged design.
• Hydraulic adjustable stools are becoming more popular with the addition of stools in computer labs. National School Lines offers a task chair using the heaviest tubing in the market. You can also add the option of a hydraulic adjustable seat/back with or without casters and an adjustable desk.

• Melamine is strong, but brittle - meaning it will crack and break if a stool falls over. National School Lines has researched this and now offers a unique molded stool using the strength of a wood MDF core - it is extremely dense for holding power. • The concern of broken welds has been eliminated at National School Lines. Our standard model stools are assembled in the factory using the latest style hardware- similar to the retro stool look made popular in the 50’s.
